Ontario Steelheaders Recognize the Passing of Doug Swan

Doug was a huge presence with the Ontario Steelheaders and Denny’s Dam Park

A few words from Doug’s Daughter.

I’ve attached a picture that my sisters Cathy, Debbie and myself like and it fits perfectly for who my dad really was. 

I’ve talked with my sisters and they both agree with me that one of my dad’s passion and still was up until his Alzheimer got bad was the love of fishing.

He loved talking about the salmon ladder, and he loved being there during the salmon run. He would always give us updates on how the salmon were during.

Owen Sound was the place to be and so many memories at Denny’s dam.

I would like to thank the Steelheaders for making a huge impact on my dad.

I know he will truly be missed by many
